I am blessed with my job, that I get to do many fun classes. This was a fun class I taught in honor of Dr. Seuss' bday.

Even though I can't show the painting we did that day, I did want to share some of the fun ideas I had. I got to paint an apron any way I

wanted Dr. Suess style. I had everyone make tall "Cat in the Hat" hats. Made by painting red stripes on white pieces of large construction paper. We cut holes in white paper plates, the size of our heads, then stapled the rolled construction paper to the plates.

We had trivia questions and each person who answered a question got a little ticket with a picture of a dr. Suess character. Person with the most wins. For the prize, I hit the value section at Target and scored some dollar items (Dr. Suess notebook, pencils etc.). I always like to have an extra gift item in case there is a tie.

The treat we served we cupcakes with bright yellow frosting and I added some Sweedish Fish on top (you know, one fish, two fish...). We made Lorax tree decor from tissue paper and used bright table teal and red table cloths.

Lastly, I placed a Dr. Suess bookmark in everyone's seat as a favor. They were 10/$1 at Target. SCORE!!

It was a fun night!!
