I found a good way to organize my school lessons that is super easy. It helps me with lesson planning and record keeping.
I used an old file box and labeled file folders for 52 weeks (you can do as many weeks as you want, we do all school all year). You can also add extra folders for things such as important record keeping papers, tests, etc.
When I do lessons planning I devide up the worksheets based on what we are working on. Each week, we are expected to compete the worksheets within that folder. As work gets completed it goes back into the folder for record keeping. This keeps our desks clutter free from papers.

Keep in mind, we adjust if we are not quite ready to move onto a new concept or something. Also, we do plenty of work that are not worksheets, but this helps us keep our paper work organized and has been super easy. It also keeps us accountable to get all of our work completed each week. My 1st grader is even able to pull out her work and get started, if I am working on something else.
This has been super helpful for me.
Happy Learning!
